The 26th Balkan Championships for seniors and 7th Balkan Championships for veterans was held from February 23 to 25, 2024 in Podgorica, Montenegro, in which about three hundred competitors of national federations from 11 countries took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 4 tatami mats.
By success in the senior competition Montenegro was first with 7 gold medals, 1 silver and 3 bronze, second was Croatia with 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 6 bronze, and in third place was Serbia with 2 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronze.
By success in the veteran competition Turkiye was first with 4 gold medals, 4 silver and 2 bronze, second was Bosnia and Hetzegovina with 3 gold medals, 3 silver and 2 bronze, and in third place was Greece with 2 gold medals and 2 silver 2 bronze.
