The Balkan Championships for cadets, juniors and U21 was held from November 17 to 19, 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where over a thousand competitors and over 300 judges, coaches and representatives of national federations from 13 countries took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 6 tatami mats.
In terms of success, Turkiye was first with 13 gold medals, 11 silver and 19 bronze, second was Serbia with 11 gold medals, 5 silver and 12 bronze, and in third place was Bosnia and Herzegovina with 8 gold medals, 8 silver and 15 bronze.
