24th Balkan Championships for cadets, juniors and U21 was held from November 08 to 10, 2024 in Sarajevo, Bosna and Herzegovina, where over a one thousand and two hundred competitors from 13 nacional federations took part. In compliance with all WKF rules and norms, the competition took place on 6 tatami mats.
In terms of success, Bosnia and Herzegovina was first with 14 gold medals, 7 silver and 15 bronze, second was Serbia with 8 gold medals, 8 silver and 8 bronze, and in third place was Turkiye with 7 gold medals, 9 silver and 17 bronze.
The 26th Balkan Championships for seniors and 7th Balkan Championships for veterans was held from February 23 to 25, 2024 in Podgorica, Montenegro, in which about three hundred competitors of national federations from 11 countries took part. The 25th Balkan Championships for seniors and 6th Balkan Championships for veterans was held from Septemer 22 to 24, 2023 in Tirana, Albania, where more than three hundred competitors of national federations from 11 countries took part. 27th Balkan Karate Championships for Children was held on 26-28 May 2023 in Bar, Montenegro, was excellently organized by the Karate Federation of Montenegro and gathered more than 1400 competitors from 11 countries.
In terms of success, Turkiye was first with 14 gold medals, 14 silver and 17 bronze, second was Montenegro with 13 gold medals, 6 silver and 16 bronze, and in third place was Croatia with 8 gold medals, 10 silver and 10 bronze.
At the headquarters of the Karate Federation of Balkan, in Belgrade, a meeting was held with the participation of Mr. Davor Cipek, President of the Karate Federation of Balkan, Mr. Slavoljub Piper, Secretary General of the Karate Federation of Balkan and Mr. Aslan Abid Uguz, President of the Karate Federation of Turkey.
After a constructive and comprehensive conversation, a document was signed on the renewal of membership of the Karate Federation of Turkey in the Karate Federation of Balkan.

Second place went to the team of Turkey won ten gold, five silver and eleven bronze medals. Third place went to the team of FYR of Macedonia with six gold, three silver and nine bronze medals.

1st Open Balkan School Karate Games, which was held on 10th, 11th and 12st of November 2017 in Novi Sad, Serbia, brought together pupils and students from Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR of Macedonija, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia.

All students competitors who belong to the WKF movement and whose National Federations are members of WKF can take part in the competition.

22nd Balkan Championships for children, which was held on 19th, 20th and 21st of May 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey, brought together over 668 participants from 11 countries.
In the overall standings the most successful was the representation of Turkey who won twenty nine gold, twenty seven silver and forty four bronze medals. Second place went to the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won eight gold, ten silver and twenty seven bronze medals. Third place went to the team of Serbia with seven gold, five silver and twenty one bronze medals.
19th Balkan Seniors Championships, which was held on 25th and 26th of March 2017 in Cacak, Serbia, brought together over 302 participants from 11 countries.
In the overall standings the most successful was the representation of Serbia who won six gold, one silver and seven bronze medals. Second place went to the team of Croatia won four gold and four bronze medals. Third place went to the team of Montenegro with two gold, eight silver and tree bronze medals.
Karate Federation of Balkan had organized a Seminar for referees and coaches on 28th and 29th of August 2016 in Belgrade while the practical part was held in Sports Hall – “Ranko Žeravica”. The seminar was attended by coaches and referees from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia.

18th Balkan Seniors Championships which was held on 27th and 28th of February 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey brought together over 260 participants from 11 countries.
The major significance of Karate Federation of Balkan and the competition organized by KFB is evidenced by the fact that the Balkan Seniors Championships was attended by WKF President Mr. Antonio Espinós.

On 9th of October 2015 Belgrade was the host of Karate Federation of Balkan Election Congress, where the presidents of the following karate federations took part: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey, while the consent of the Congress and the application was given by the representatives of Albania, who had justifiable reasons from which they could not attend.

43 Traditional international karate tournament “Golden Belt” for seniors is held on 12.04.2014 and for cadets, juniors and U21 on 13.04.2014 in Cacak, Serbia, and in which took part the competitors from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Israel, Croatia, FYROM, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia.
Competition was attended by Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Vanja Udovičić and Minister of Construction and Urban Planning of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Velimir Ilić, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Mr. Dragan Atanasov, Secretary General of the European Karate Federation Mr. Stjepan Celan, president of Referee Commission of the European Karate Federation Mr. Primoz Debenak , President of the Karate federation of Balkan Mr. Alexei Patrov, Secretary General of the Sports Federation of Serbia Mr. Dane Korica, the mayor of city Cacak Mr. Vojislav Ilic, president of Assembly of city Cacak Mr. Veljko Negovanović and others.
Secretary General of the European Karate Federation Stjepan Celan resigned to Slavoljub Piper Great recognition for outstanding contributions to the development of the World Karate Federation (WKF) and European Karate Federation (EKF) in front of the President WKF Antonio Espinos.
During this competition president of Karate Federation of Balkan Mr. Alexei Patrov held a meeting with representatives of the national karate federation when they established the guidelines for further improvement of karate sport on the Balkan Peninsula.
After the six first successful editions, WKF organizes the 7th edition of the WKF Youth Camp and World Cup which will be held from 30 June to 6 July 2014 in Umag, Croatia. This year WKF will continue with the children categories, and the WKF Youth Cup will take place in parallel.

Training Camp Director will be Esteban Perez (WKF OC Chairman) and the Training Camp Insiructors will be Hoang Ngan Nguyen, World Champion in Kata and member of the WKF Athletes Commission, Predrag Stojadinov, World and European Champion, National Serbian Coach and Davide Benetello, World and European Champion and Chairman of the WKF Athletes Commission.
In Belgrade on September 13, 2013 held inaugural and election Congress of Karate Federation of the Balkan.
On inaugural election congress representatives of the following national karate federations took a part: Turkey, Croatia, Albania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, FYR of Macedonia and Serbia Consent of the Congress work, and the application were provided by the representatives of Cyprus, who had justifiable reasons from which they could not attend.
Participation in the work of Karate Federation of Balkan was taken a part by all national karate organizations which belong to Balkan peninsula except Greece.
The Congress elected the following bodies: the Executive Committee, the Supervisory Board, the president, four vice-presidents, the disciplinary committee and the secretary general of the Karate Federation of the Balkan.
President of the Karate Federation of Balkan is Mr. Alexei Petrov from Bulgaria.

On Sunday March 31, 2013 ended 18th Balkan Championship for Children, 14th Balkan Championship for Cadet & Junior and 3 Balkan Cup for U21 in the technical organization of Karate Federation of Serbia.
This competition was held in Kragujevac, Serbia, and it occurred in 1352 participants from Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia.
Overall in the first place was taken by Turkish team with 25 gold, 22 silver and 20 bronze medals, the second place was taken by Serbian team with 10 gold, 10 silver and 29 bronze medals and the third place was teken by Macedonia team with 10 gold, 9 silver and 17 bronze medals.
